I had an excellent experience over nearly two years of treatment at this orthodontic clinic. The entire team, from Cathy to Kerry and the dental assistants Jenny and Jennifer provided exceptional customer service, and Dr. James Scramstad is both friendly and professional. I cannot express enough how grateful I am for the team at previously Align now Straight Smiles. Every single time they are the sweetest earth angels I have ever met. Ever single time they manage to go above and beyond. This time of year is very hard for a lot of people and they always make sure to make you feel loved even for 20 minutes. I cannot express enough how grateful I am for the team to take care of me. Straight Smiles deserves the world and best in Kelowna! Every single time I leave, with a straight smile!! Even an happy tear sometimes, I know not everyone has the privilege, kindness goes so far and they always take it to the next level. I owe them, they deserve the biggest thank you ever. I will be back to drop off donations for Christmas for families. They really put the Christmas Cheer in this time of year. 10/10 just made my whole day 🥰

I started my treatment back in September and this place has the BEST customer service I have ever seen! I am constantly telling my friends and family on how friendly and knowledgeable everyone is! I still have a long ways to go with my Invisalign but get excited every time I have an appointment with them. I will continue to spread the word on how amazing they are!

I am so grateful for Dr. Scramstad and his AMAZING team. They have been looking after me for years as my teeth have been rather difficult to move. They never gave up, and always went above and beyond to do what was needed to make my smile perfect! HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Also, I did a lot of research beforehand and have talked to a lot of people - they are THE BEST at what they do, but also have the best affordability in Kelowna.

Everyone was lovely from the moment I walked in, I haven’t been here before and had braces over 15 years ago with permanent retainers put in. Jennifer and Dr.Scramstad educated me on the different options available now for retainers and I left happy with the service I received and will definitely come back here for any orthodontic questions or changes!

Align Ortho Changed my life!This business has single handedly changed the way I smile, engage with others and look at myself in the mirror. Not only did I have my mouth transformed but using their state of the art cutting edge tech I was able to do it in record time. On top of all this during the process they gave me the freedom to help design my new smile while simultaneously providing me with professional input. Before the process I was highly considering getting veneers but after this I'm happy I didn't because my natural teeth look better than they ever could have with veneers.To top it all off Dr. James Scramstead gave me his personal phone number to call or text with any questions at any time! Now thats service!I cannot recommend this place enough, if you're even considering getting any orthodontics done please go see the team at Align for a 0$ consultation because I'm sure they're the right fit for almost everybody.

My daughter just had her braces removed today and I am thrilled with the results as well as the entire process. The process from the moment she had her braces put on to the day they were removed has been wonderful. i went to align for my second round of braces after previously having them, and i gave some pretty picky small teeth, and missing teeth the whole works. i seriously had the best experience at align, i moved in the middle of my treatment and was accommodated so well when i came back to get them tightened. everyone here is so pleasant and they pay such an amazing attention to detail and perfection. i feel like my teeth were properly cared for here and i’m so happy i made the choice to go to align ortho for my treatment. thank you all for everything, you all are such an amazing team and i deeply appreciate all you did for me these last two years. 10/10 recommend to anyone looking into orthodontics ❤️

If I could make this the #1 recommended orthodontics office on Google and the first result everyone would see then I would!I love my smile and I wouldn't have had anyone else create it, the way my teeth were I bet you anyone else would have said one tooth needed to be removed but Dr. James Scramstad rose up to the challenge with confidence and provided flawless results. Of three ortho consults, Dr. Scramstad was the only person that did not dismiss my concerns as being too minor. The office incorporates digital technology that allows you to discuss outcomes before executing them. I was able to see how minute adjustments could ward off future gum recession. The technology has the added advantage of manipulating the bone the least amount possible. In my opinion, this method is superior to manual adjusting. They always play fun music and the entire team is really friendly. I'm super happy with the outcome. Thank you guys!

I am so glad I chose Align Ortho to take care of my braces. Aside from the convenient location, the modern equipment, the cleanliness of the facility, prompt service and the reasonable price, the staff are what makes Align Ortho truly stand out. Align Ortho is hands down the greatest orthodontist office I have ever went to! From moving around, having to switch offices was a common occurrence but they made everything go smooth and seamlessly! The staff is so extremely nice and caring and Align Ortho offers an amazing environment to be apart of! I am an adult that is half way through my SureSmile treatment at Align and I couldn’t be happier with my decision! All of the staff are so lovely, and the treatment has been a breeze. They outlined all of my options, ultimately letting me choose what worked best with my lifestyle. I had traditional braces as a teen, but my teeth completely reverted back because I didn’t have a retainer. 16 weeks with my aligners and my teeth are straighter than they were after my entire braces treatment. Due to covid I haven’t seen friends or family since I began my treatment, and I look forward to seeing them even more with my new smile!

INCREDIBLE!Let me start this review by letting potential clients know that I had started an Invisalign treatment a DIFFERENT dentist office in town, but after 3 years of treatment (and although there was a noticeable improvement), this particular office was unable to correct problem areas of my teeth that weren't tracking. They said there was nothing they could do anymore, and it was my fault and my problem that my teeth weren't straightening properly. I paid a hefty bill to be indefinitely left at "mostly good".Before totally giving up, I decided to reach out to a few more dentist offices, one being Align Ortho with Dr. Scramstad. I did a free consultation, and before leaving, Dr. Scramstad was able to give me a very competitive rate and he was VERY confident they could fix the issue.I put full faith in his confidence and I am SO glad to have done so. Between the fact they keep up with the latest technology in orthodontics, and their impressive expertise, my teeth began tracking again (after years of problems!) and I was finally on the road to finishing a proper treatment.I can't express how truly grateful I am to have gotten a consultation from Dr. Scramstad. The entire office treats me like I am family when I walk through their door, they are informative and explain EVERY STEP of your treatment, and they work with you to get it DONE RIGHT. Simply put, they CARE about your treatment and will stop at nothing to make sure you are completely happy!My only regret is not coming to them first, when I started treatment nearly four years ago.Thank you so much Dr. Scramstad and team. Awesome team and results!We had a great journey with Dr.Scramstad and his team. From the initial consultation, check in visits, braces on and follow up appointments it was a 3.5 year process.From beginning to end the experience was great as a parent and for my son who had to get braces. The whole team is very professional, accommodating and fun! They answered all my questions and explained how the process was going to work. My son's situation was difficult to begin with and then we had some setbacks (due to slow growing teeth). Regardless, Dr. Scramstad was very patient and addressed the setbacks and did not rush the process. He stuck to the plan and the outcome was exactly as he said it would be.Jen and Jennifer are wonderful and very competent. Alway there to help in an emergency situation (we had a few) and make each visit fun. Cathy is the best...returns phone calls, always has a smile and was very accommodating when booking our appointments.Overall I would highly recommend the Align Team. They deliver what they promise and more. My son is very happy with his smile and so am I.Thank you very much!PS - always on time never had to wait past our schedule appointment. Rare for Dr's!

Dr. Scramstad and his team are phenomenal!As an adult I had some movement in my teeth, and over time it was aesthetically unpleasing, and I was becoming more self conscious of my smile.My treatment plan was for both upper and lower Invisalign. Very early in the treatment plan I was seeing awesome results, with minimal to no discomfort. At this stage I'm mostly complete with my treatment, and incredibly happy with the outcome.On top of that, Dr. Scramstad and his team have been incredible during COVID. They're super thoughtful about ensuring the safety of their patients and staff. The office is super clean and there is minimal overlapping patient traffic.I could not recommend them more highly. Six out of five stars from me! If you're an adult or teenager who would like to get orthodontic treatment, go to Align Ortho.

Dr scramsrad, Jenny, Jen, and Cathy have done amazing job of turning my British teeth into a straight smile. From the beginning they were up front with any costs not covered by my plan, there were no surprises to my treatment. Every time I went on for treatment checkups my appointments were on time, quick, and any adjustments to my treatment plan were explained to me. The staff are friendly and service is exceptional. What a great practice and team! From the start of getting braces as an adult Align stood above the rest in terms of professionalism, price and value. Throughout the two years I had braces I actually enjoyed getting adjustments because of the staff. To top it all off I got my retainer and on the second day it got lost through security or on my travels and James helped me out over the weekend to get me a replacement. Thanks again!

You will not find a better ortho in this town. I have had braces (once as a teen and AGAIN as an adult due to not wearing my retainer) and I have also worked in the dental field and I can confidently say that Dr. James Scramstad is the best there is. The office is great too and the team is super friendly and helpful. Can't say enough good things about this place. I had an amazing experience there and I recommend them to anyone (young or old) who needs orthodontics.

Currently have braces from them. They are reasonably priced, there are no hidden costs - very up front about the entire procedure. The visits to tighten are quick, no more than 15 minutes at a time. I would recommend them to anyone that needs teeth straightening.
